You can enroll in the Western Union Rewards program at westernunion.com, on our mobile app, or at most of our agent locations.

You can earn points with Western Union Rewards program using any of the following ways:

• You can earn 100 points for every money transfer. Points will be credited in your account after the money transfer is completed. This means once the money transfer is received or picked up by the person receiving the money.

From time to time, you might also receive bonus points offers from Western Union that will allow you to earn additional points for completing certain activities.

You can redeem 500 points to get a discount of up to $2 CAD on a money transfer fee¹.

You can make small edits or updates to your receiver’s name directly on westernunion.com or in the Western Union® mobile app, without calling Customer Care, if the changes meet the following eligibility rules:

• You can correct spelling mistakes
• You can add or remove parts of a name (e.g., middle name or second last name)

To edit or update your receiver’s name, follow these steps:

1. Log into your profile at westernunion.com
2. Go to Transaction history or My receivers
3. Select the transaction or receiver
4. Select Edit receiver name
5. Update the name as needed
6. Review the changes and select Save

You’ll see a confirmation message once the update is successful.

You can make the following updates yourself:

• Fixing typos or spelling errors

You’ll need to contact Customer Care for the following:

• Changing the receiver to a completely different person
• Making changes that conflict with identity verification (KYC) or compliance rules

You should contact Customer Care when:

• The receiver needs to be changed to a different person
• The system does not allow the change
• The transaction is already being processed
• The requested change does not meet compliance or legal requirements
